A late 20th century reproduction swept English Rococo style frame, sometimes called a Chippendale frame. This type of light swept frame with numerous pierced holes is based on 18th Century styles. Finished with bronze powder gilt finish. This frame was handmade in England. Good condition with just some signs of wear and age, no missing pieces of ornament, which is unusual for such delicately ornamented frames which are prone to damage.
