An early 20th Century French Louis XIV inspired corner and centre frame, plaster moulded ornament, incised frieze and cross hatch corner ground. The finish appears to be metal leaf and is dark and distressed. It has some damage and losses in places, and the gesso around the sides is in poor condition.
