A late 19th or early 20th century gilded Neoclassical frame with composition ornament, probably English. The condition is good with original gilded finish, some overpaint on the sides. It has been cut down at some point, the outer leaf ornament originally radiated out from a central clasp, this was not taken into account when it was cut down, resulting in the ornament matching OK on two sides, but not on the other two.
