19th Century Gilded Neoclassical Cove

Antique Neoclassical cove frame for sale

A late 19th Century English Neoclassical cove frame with laurel leaf high point, and acanthus leaf mitre leaves. Gilded finish, various losses to the composition mitre leaves, gesso loss to the sides and much of the outer small tongue and dart compo is lost on outer edge. Average condition overall but would make a good period frame in a Georgian house.
