A late 20th Century French Louis XIV corner and centre style frame, with a paint and gilt finish. Good condition with some minor areas of damage, just light wear from handling and moving, a few chips to the finish. Two corners are opening a little at the mitres. Made around the 1960's, the style is often called a Montparnasse frame.
