17th Century Carved Wood Louis XIII Frame






A 17th Century carved wood English Louis XIII frame. Ref 529
The finish is original and the condition shows that the frame was made in the late 1600's, with numerous chips to the gesso, fine surface cracks, and flaking finish in many places, the finish is rather fragile due to the age. The frame is carved from lime wood. A really beautiful and genuine antique frame.
