Composition Revival Frame

Antique picture frame for sale, Victorian frame, Louis XIII

A late 19th or early 20th Century composition frame, perhaps best described as a Louis XIII style revival frame. It has a lap jointed base frame, the composition ornament is quite busy but it is well laid out.
