A French 17th Century Louis XIII Carved Oak Frame










A very fine 17th Century carved oak French Louis XIII frame, ref NS109
Some losses, rebate damage, chips and some flaking gesso/gilding, general signs of age, the black paint is later applied with original gilding beneath, backing frame also later applied.
